Architectural Design
Kennet Design has an experienced team of architectural (CAD) designers and architectural surveyors. We offer the full array of architectural services – electronic measured surveys, plan drawing and 3D visualisations, so you can see your building project before it’s even begun.

Planning & Permitted Development
We are able to take away the hassle of liaising with your Local Planning Authority. From experience, we know what they tend to like and dislike and we’ll work with them to get your design approved. Recently, the Government relaxed planning laws and devised a system known as Permitted Development (this was further relaxed on 31st May 2013). There is now a great deal you can build without the need for full Planning Approval, so get in touch now for further advice on your Permitted Development Rights.

Building Regulations
Our technical team are able to provide a detailed building specification to compliment your architectural drawings. This serves two main purposes: to form the basis of a Building Control Application, which we can handle for you – we need to ensure your design conforms to the current Building Regulations; and to enable you to obtain accurate estimates from builders – whether you choose to approach builders recommended by Kennet Design or whether you have your own builder contacts, it’s important to get like for like estimates and to pin down the costs at the start so you don’t get any nasty surprises along the way.

Kennet Design also offers an interior design service. Our interior designers are vastly experienced and will work closely with you to understand how you’d like to complete your project and turn your house in to your home.

Outside Spaces
The final element of any property development is often the outside space. To help complete your development project, we are able to offer a range of design services from simple garden design and advice on planting, to full landscape design to create your ideal outer sanctum.
