I have Kennet Design to thank enormously for putting me on the right path and interpreting my ideas exactly…
After living in London, I decided to move to the country and found a lovely coach house that had been converted into a house in the 1960’s in Calne.
The house was in need of some serious updating but it had a beautiful, landscaped, mature garden and was not listed! I was handed the keys on a frosty February morning and set about making plans for the house. It was clear to me, that the internal layout of the house needed rearranging and I was in need of some architectural services.
I met with Carl Drury of Kennet Design and explained to him my ideas for the house. He was very sympathetic and shared my enthusiasm for the project and I immediately felt I was in safe hands. Carl introduced me to a builder that he had had good experience with and before no time at all, the building work was up and started.
Kennet Design liaised with the Builder and Building Control with all the technical details and drawings and now I have a lovely open space for my kitchen where once, three small rooms were. Work is still underway as I am writing this, but I have Carl Drury and Kennet Design to thank enormously for putting me on the right path and interpreting my ideas exactly.
